Our Story
About Encountered
I launched Encountered from my grandma’s bedroom after going through one of the hardest chapters of my life. Following the end of a long relationship, I was raising my two daughters on my own while trying to rebuild. After years as a stay-at-home dad, I struggled to find work and realized I needed to create something of my own — something that could one day become a legacy for my girls.
What started as a personal project quickly turned into a mission. Encountered exists to create clothing for people who have experienced the unexplained. We make pieces that help experiencers feel less alone and less crazy for believing what they’ve seen. We believe in telling the truths that most of the world prefers to ignore.
Right now, we’re a new brand with no customers yet, but our goal is simple: build a real community for encounterees, UFO experiencers, space enthusiasts, and anyone who’s ever felt there’s more to this reality than we’re told. A place where people from all over the world can connect through clothing that speaks to the unknown.
